We are currently on a ski holiday in Japan.  I have to be honest about this and say that I  wasn’t initially looking forward to it – mainly because I can’t ski.  That is now in the process of being remedied which I am feeling somewhat surprised about actually.  That said time here is precious but I wanted to share some photos as it is just so beautiful here. We are staying in Nozawa Onsen which until recently was more famous for its Onsen – Japanese Baths in the hot springs, than it was for skiing.  Now there are many Australians making their way here for annual holidays in perfect powder.  Me….I am just a bit enamoured by the culture…..and I want to know more and I cannot understand a word of any of it.
